Woocommerce: przypisz „autora” do produktu

Rozwijam swój pierwszy motyw do woocommerce.

Muszę mieć możliwość przypisania „autorów” (naprawdę „projektantów”) do produktów woocommerce. Czy to wykonalne? Myślałem o użyciu wbudowanego w WordPressa użytkownika „autor”, ale interfejs edycji produktu nie zapewnia pola „autor”, w przeciwieństwie do interfejsu edycji „post”.
